Seguros y confiados en Cristo
Día 5
¡Bendito el varón que confía en Jehová, y cuya confianza es Jehová! Porque será como el árbol plantado junto a las aguas, que echa sus raíces junto a la corriente, y no teme cuando viene el calor, sino que su hoja estará verde; y en el año de sequía no se fatigará, ni dejará de dar fruto. Jeremías 17:7-8
Hay temporadas de nuestras vidas en las que se nos ponen a prueba muchas cosas: la paciencia, la confianza, la seguridad en uno mismo, pero, sobre todo, se prueba nuestra fe. Tiempos en que no vemos respuestas a oraciones realizadas. Tiempos de desaliento, desesperanza y con pocas fuerzas para continuar. Momentos en que sólo son "Tú y Dios".
A pesar de que en nuestra humanidad nos asaltan las dudas, y se debilita nuestra fe, qué bueno es saber que podemos confiar en el Señor; nuestra roca firme, fuente segura e inagotable.
Que confortante es saber que podemos llevar todas nuestras angustias y preocupaciones ante nuestro señor , descansando y confiando en el que todo lo puede. El que nunca nos falla , el que no cambia, el que nos ama incondicionalmente.
Esa confianza y esa seguridad en Cristo sólo la podemos lograr aferrándonos más a él, y a su palabra. Echando raíces profundas, que nos arraiguen a esa corriente de agua viva, esa fuente de vida que es Cristo.
Durante las temporadas difíciles, los procesos nos llevan a tener un mayor acercamiento a Dios, a conocer mejor su cuidado para con nosotros, su protección, su amor y su fidelidad. Nos llevan a desarrollar una dependencia total en El.
En la medida que confiamos en Dios , se fortalece nuestra fe y se incrementa en nosotros una residencia ante las dificultades , y una confianza en que no importando la circunstancia, si descansamos en Dios y permanecemos en él, todo está bien. ¿Y si él está conmigo, quién contra mí? ( Rom 8:31 )
Debemos crear una conexión real y constante con Cristo como sus fieles seguidores. Sólo estando unidos y aferrados a la vid verdadera (Jesús) como nos habla Juan 15:5. Podremos caminar firmes, seguros y confiados. Y nuestras vidas serán vidas de obediencia y propósito.
Oración
Amado Dios, en este tiempo de ayuno, oro para que nuestras vidas estén arraigadas en esa fuente de vida eterna que eres Tú. Que podamos echar raíces profundas en ti, para caminar confiados y seguros, no importando la temporada en que nos encontremos. En tu nombre oro. Amén.

Secure and confident in Christ
Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
There are seasons in our lives when many things are tested: our patience, our trust, our sense of security—but above all, our faith. Times when we do not see answers to our prayers. Times of discouragement, hopelessness, and little strength to continue. Moments when it is just “you and God.”
Despite the doubts that arise in our humanity and the weakening of our faith, how good it is to know that we can trust in the Lord, our rock, our secure and inexhaustible source. How comforting it is to know that we can bring all our anguish and concerns before our Lord, resting and trusting in the One who can do all things; the One who never fails us, who does not change, and who loves us unconditionally.
This confidence and security in Christ can only be achieved by holding more tightly to Him and to His Word—by growing deep roots that anchor us to that stream of living water, that source of life which is Christ.
During difficult seasons, the process can draw us closer to God and help us better understand His care for us, His protection, His love, and His faithfulness. It leads us to develop total dependence on Him.
As we place our trust in God, our faith is strengthened, resilience grows within, even in the face of difficulty, and confidence increases—knowing that regardless of the circumstance, if we rest in God and remain in Him, all will be well. And if He is for me, who can be against me? (Romans 8:31)
We must cultivate a real and constant connection with Christ as His faithful followers. Only by remaining united to and firmly attached to the true vine (Jesus), as we are told in John 15:5, will we be able to walk firmly, securely, and confidently. And our lives will be lives of obedience and purpose.
Prayer
Loving God, during this time of fasting, I pray that our lives may be rooted in You, the source of eternal life. May we grow deep roots in You, so that we may walk secure and confident, no matter the season we are in. In Your name I pray. Amen.
