2 Corintios 4:16

The potter
Day 7
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8
One day I walked to the potter’s house, and he was at his work. When I entered his workshop, I remained quiet and did not want to interrupt him, because I wanted to observe what he was doing—how he worked and what he used to turn a pile of mud or clay into a beautiful and useful vessel, pleasing to the eyes of all. In his hands, he had a wheel that was spinning; the clay he was shaping, and the water he used to give the vessel the correct form in every part as he molded it.
Dear friends, you and I are in the hands of the best Potter, who is Christ Jesus. You may ask yourself, “Is there a wheel that I am on?” Perhaps not a physical wheel, but there is a process you are going through. And that vessel the Potter is forming is you and me, whom He holds with His hands and shapes by the power of His Holy Spirit, which is like the water, giving us the right form that is pleasing to Him and visible to all.
At times, the vessel I observed would fall apart and break, but the potter never stopped shaping it. In your life, you will go through very difficult situations and moments where you will feel as though you are being destroyed in the process. But always remember: God is your Potter, and you are His most precious vessel. The process you are going through is not for destruction, but rather for the renewal of your inner being.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16
With you,
