Entrando en el tiempo de Dios

Día 1

4 Pero cuando vino la plenitud del tiempo, Dios envió a Su Hijo, nacido de mujer, nacido bajo la ley, 5 a fin de que redimiera a los que estaban bajo la ley, para que recibiéramos la adopción de hijos. 6 Y porque ustedes son hijos, Dios ha enviado el Espíritu de Su Hijo a nuestros corazones, clamando: «¡Abba! ¡Padre!». 7 Por tanto, ya no eres siervo, sino hijo; y si hijo, también heredero por medio de Dios. - Gálatas 4:4-7

Con mucha frecuencia usamos el comienzo del año para comenzar nuevas cosas y tratar de cumplir metas. Usamos el cambio de fecha del calendario como un reloj para ayudarnos a movernos hacia algo nuevo o algo deseado. Y aunque esto no esté mal, podemos pensar que Dios opera de igual manera. Pero Dios opera un poco diferente; Dios no se rige por el calendario humano sino por su voluntad y su tiempo perfecto. Dios no está en su trono esperando que el reloj torne de 11:59pm a 12am de un año a otro para obrar. Él ya tiene todo organizado en su perfecto tiempo y espera que tú y yo entremos en su tiempo y su voluntad. Me encanta que estemos comenzando el año ayunando, pero te quiero animar a que recuerdes que Dios ha estado obrando en tu vida antes del 2026. No olvides lo que Dios ha hecho en ti y su fidelidad en años anteriores. Aun si eres nuevo en la fe, Dios ha sido fiel en tu vida antes de que pensaras en serle fiel a Él.

Por esto, al comenzar estos 21 días de ayuno y oración, recuerda que el reloj de Dios no es el tuyo, él no cambia porque entró un nuevo año, Dios no cambia sus planes porque se fue el año viejo y entró el nuevo. Dios ya tenía un plan para tu vida y espera que tú entres en su propósito.

Así que en este ayuno, antes de presionar el acelerador de tus planes y visiones, ve a tu Padre celestial que te ha hecho heredero de su reino y entra en sus planes y su visión. Él te ha redimido para su propósito, te ha sacado de la esclavitud para su voluntad y te ha dado su adopción para que Jesús reine en tu vida y su vida sea la tuya.

At the beginning of a new year, many of us look for a fresh start and set new goals. We use the change of the calendar year like a clock that helps us move toward something new or something we desire. And while this is not wrong, we can begin to think that God operates the same way. But God operates differently. God is not governed by the human calendar, but by His will and His perfect timing. God is not seated on His throne waiting for the clock to turn from 11:59 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in order to act. He already has everything ordered according to His perfect time, and He invites you and me to step into His timing and His will.

I love that we are beginning the year fasting, but I want to encourage you to remember that God has been at work in your life long before 2026. Do not forget what God has done in you and His faithfulness in previous years. Even if you are new in your spiritual journey, God has been faithful in your life long before you were faithful to Him. So as we begin these 21 days of fasting and prayer, remember that God’s clock is not the same as yours. God does not change because a new year begins, nor does He alter His plans because the old year has passed and a new one has arrived. God already had a plan for your life, and He invites you to step into His purpose.

Therefore, during this fast, before pressing the accelerator on your plans and visions, go to your heavenly Father—the One who has made you an heir of His kingdom—and enter into His plans and His vision. He has redeemed you for His purpose, delivered you from slavery for His will, and given you adoption so that Jesus may reign in your life, and His life may become yours.
